Marilena Preda Sanc

Trained as mural painter, I consider myself a painter of fix and running images concerning with representation of Realities. My mind, my body and my feelings record lived experiences and I visualize them in my art work.

Between 1981-2011 I have created artworks that incorporate researches on private / social / political / feminist issues. This continuously evolving artwork is developing on concrete and efemer support in an abstract or figurative vision. I was preoccupied more by the message.

The City Mon Amour reflects the relation between me / a woman and the city. Sometime we are imprisoned in our anonimus body as in a cage. Sometime we fill the aggressiveness of the city but we continue to love the city. Our inner/outerscape is related to the city urbanscape.
